I dont know your age - and I'm not asking a Lady either!

I assume you are 25 or older. With Alamo Brits the cheapest is £298.41
Same price if you are 22, lots more if under 21

Virgin Atlantic Alamo is £318.49. Not much in it. £381 for an Intermediate. Nice size car, loads of room for 2

I would go with Brits as the time scale you have is collapsing and we dont know what the £ will do. Plus you can cancel albeit there are time limits on that

Please can I hi-jack this thread...I was just reading an email from Martin Lewis (money saving expert), not from him personally but the weekly newsletter, which covered this topic and it got me panicking... we have 'car hire' with Travel City Direct, I don't know if it was 'free', it was just included in the package.
We are entitled to a Kia Rio or similar with 'basic car hire', does this mean we do not have full insurance, they do not make it clear but I guess it's for me to check. Was thinking of getting insurance here but now thinking should I just sort private hire? FYI my DH would be driving and is 36, how much do you think it would cost? Thank you...

TCD is part of Virgin so almost certainly it will be a 'free car' and uninsured. That is unless when you booked they put the Insurance package on top.
Normally its just basic 3rd party Florida minimum insurance which won't cover any damage to the car or hospital bills for others in a bump.

As regards age there is no increase for anyone over 25 - well there is when you get really old!

Thank you, have just called them and it will cost £260.60p for the full insurance. Will speak with the DH and decide what to do!
