Cruise to all the Canary Islands with Thomson
Hello
Looking at booking a 7 night cruise with Thomson cruising around all of the Canaries Visiting Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera and on to Madeira as well. Has anyone been on a similar cruise/itinerary? It's onboard the 'Thomson Dream' with an all inclusive drinks package.

My friend is a Thomson TA and also likes to cruise - they have just come back from a Middle Eastern Thomson Cruise.
She says she loves Thomson - the boats ARE clearly much smaller than the other cruise lines but she says the service and ambience are really good. Katie x |

Haven't cruised with them personally but a friend of mine who has been on many ships cruised around the canaries with Thomson last December.
I think she was expecting it to be fairly basic but She really enjoyed it... from memory she said the food was average but like Katie68 said the ambiance and Service was good.

We have done Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Madeira on Celebrity Eclipse. Had fun on the islands. Love Madeira. We have never been with Thomson but a friend has and loved it.

We're going on a Canaries Cruise with Thomson in 6 weeks time - on their older ship, Majesty. She's due for retirement later this year, but the price was right and reviews were good!
The itinerary is the same as the ones you mention. Looking forward to it

Thanks for these replies - we've booked it now!
Definitely a smaller ship and less glitzy than the MSC Divina we are going on in 6 weeks but it looks like a nice ship and an interesting itinerary, bit different to lying on a beach for a week. Tracyjjo - Not long to wait for you then! hope you'll put a bit of a review on here after? Daffodil - You know me, I'll be posting a few on FB!
