Help with booking 1st Disney Cruise
Hi everyone,
Please could somebody give me some advice with regards to booking 1st Disney cruise. I am hoping to book our 1st cruise for May next year, we would like to book the Disney Dream 3 nt Bahama cruise, when looking at the cruise times Disney website states 'on-board 3.45pm', I was thinking of flying out of Man-MCO the morning of the date of the cruise with a view to travelling direct to PC, is this possible or will I have to book a flight for the day before? What time do you actually board the ship etc etc

You can usually board around noon.
You must be onboard by 4pm or they may refuse you. Persoally I prefer to be in the country at least a day before the cruise starts, just in case they are delays.

Definately fly out the day before, its to tight to call and you will feel so stressed.

you can be onboard usually around lunch time at the earliest
flying in on the day itself would all depend on your flight and when that arrives? sail away is usually around 4pm and everybody is onboard well before this time remember regardless of your flight arrival time you need to factor in clearing immigration at mco, the driving time to the port and then clearing security and check in at the disney cruise line terminal all these take time before boarding the ship personally if it was me i would fly in the day before |

You won't make it in time flying in from the UK the day of the cruise.
They start pulling the bridges back at around 15:30. The better way to do it is to book it for the end of your holiday, then when the cruise has finished, go direct to the airport (car or DCL transfer) and book a day room at the Hyatt if you want privacy and somewher enicer to wait for your flight. Also, if you can afford the 4 night cruise, then do it. 3 nights is really not long enough to experience the Dream .. you will be very rushed. The way we do it is book the 4 night which cruises from Sun-Thur, fly home Thur, arrive Fri and then have the weekend to get rid of jet lag.
