P o cruise to Norwegien Fjorlds ?

Hi I'm looking at our first cruise to Norwegiens Fjorlds from Southampton.
I have noticed with the 2 I'm looking at 28 th May and I think 30 July 7 nights they visit 8/9 ports but only get off at 3 . Is this the norm for these cruises, I am limited to these dates.
I thought you would get off ship more.
I would be happy to just chill and watch the scenic views not so sure about hubby
What's your views have to say they have good reviews
Thanks

I think you may be getting a little mixed up - on a 7 night cruise, you won't visit 8/9 ports and on all the Fjords cruises I have been on, we have visited 4 ports (where you can get off each time) and had 2 sea days. What is the itinerary?

Ah, OK, you will actually visit 4 ports during your cruise, Stavanger, Olden, Geiranger and Bergen and have 2 full sea days at either end of your cruise. The others are the Fjords you will cruise along to actually get to the ports you are visiting if that makes sense?
I have done this itinerary and you will have a lovely time - 4 days in port and 2 at sea is a good mix to give you time to explore the ship without getting stir crazy that you can't get off!
The sailing along the Fjords is lovely in the evening and if you are lucky, your table in the dining room will give you a view out of the window - nothing beats cruising past stunning scenery whilst enjoying an amazing dinner

In Olden you can get the local bus up to the glacier that the ships tour goes to. Great trip and 6 of us did it for the cost of 1.5 ships tour.
The sails up the fjords are just stunning.

I have done a few posts on here about our first cruise - P&O to the Fjords.

Our ports were Bergen - didnt get off as it was pouring down , Olden, Flam and Stavanger.

We loved it - loved it soo much that we now have 2 more booked - a Princess cruise from Southampton, Shetland, 3x Iceland stops, 2x Candid stops and then New York
and
a 14 night Caribbean cruise in Jan 18! (Big birthday )

The Fjord cruises are amazing. The scenery is stunning. In May the weather can be very mixed. One day we threw snowballs in the morning and were sunbathing in the afternoon.
