I think the UberXLs are generally 7 seaters, so you would need to get 2 UberXs.

It shouldn't work out that much more overall, based on what we paid for XLs when we had our luggage and Xs when we didn't (almost double the cost)

I really need to figure Uber out. After my recent driving experience dh has said I'm never driving in the US again but he likes a drink when we go for dinner. Has anyone managed to book Uber using wifi from Manny's or Outback on the 192? Not sure if I even had wifi in those restaurants.

Uber don't require a tip, they use a rating system instead (ie you rate your Uber driver experience after your journey on the app). But if you want to tip, you can tip your driver in cash.

Thanks Hemanclofty I feel a bit more reassured now. I have these visions in my head we'll end up somewhere with no wifi signal and not able to arrange for an Uber. I've never even used Uber before - downloaded it onto my phone but not registered yet - want to wait until I apply for my Clarity Card to link that to it.
