My DCL Guidebook is on it's way!

I ordered the Birnbaums Guide to DCL yesterday, from Waterstones online. Just got an email saying it's been despatched, so hopefully it will turn up tomorrow, can't wait to read more about the DCL.

Has anyone else got this book, and if so, what did you think of it?

Also, I would love to know about any other books which you've found helpful in planning your cruise with Disney.

I looked on amazon for it, but it was 4 week delivery. Waterstones had one copy left, so it's not that easily available in the UK from the look of it.

My DH2B bought me the Passporter DCL guide, as a surprise for Xmas.

... sad to say, I had spent so much time on another well know discussion board that there was very little in there of any use, or that I did not already know already

jdybnsn - I haven't seen the passporter - where did your DH2B buy that from?

Yes, it's true that sometimes guidebooks can be a bit obsolete when you can get so much info from the boards, especially the one I think you mean BUT there's nothing like settling down in bed with a good guidebook, especially if it has fantastic pictures in too!

I have both the Passporter and the Birnbaum guide, I like them both. The Passporter probably has more information but I probably prefer the Birnbaum and it has lovely pictures.

Well, it's just arrived. Its very small, LOL, I expected it to be same size as the other Birnbaum books, but it's A5. Anyhow, it's also 2006 - duh! - didn't notice that when I ordered it. It will do for now though, I can always pick up a 2007 copy at WDW in August. I'm still feeling really rough with this bug I have, so it's an early night for me tonight for a good read.
