:) Castaway Cay - Which to choose?

We are going on the 4night cruise in Sept. There is myself (34), sister (38), brother (21) and nephew (10). Following getting our little planning kit through from Disney the other day, we have been trying to decide what activities we would like to do. My brother fancy's parasailing, and snorkling. Sister wants to just chill out. I fancy cycling, snorkling and chilling and as you can imagine the 10 year old wants to do it all.

So I am really looking for some recommendations as to what would be best. What have you guys done and what was good and not so good?

Hi

Just depend on the weather.

Last year we arrived the Castaway and it was very windy and i booked parasailing for my husband. Unfortunately, when we arrived and it told us that the parasailing had been cancelled due to bad wind! We got the money refunded for it.

I think just wait until arrive at Castaway and see what the weather like then you can decide what to do. You can book parasailing now, if you are really keen with it.

My husband was a bit disappointed when he find that it was cancelled as it show on the board outside.

I read elsewhere that the parasailing is currently cancelled - some problem with the contractor and Disney apparently - been like that since March or so

I was looking forward to that - maybe it would be up amd running by the time your cruise departs ? Mine is not till January

Och, I may take your advice and wait till we are there and see what takes our fancy then. It might be nice as I have almost planned every second of this holiday!

I heard the other day that parasailing is now back up and running. DH and DD are planning on doing this and I will book it when our 75 day window comes next Saturday. I will confirm the details and costs then.

Oh, I tell you Michelle, with having to organise the rest of the family - I'll need a cruise just for myself! Just to get away from them
