Has anyone been to Las Vegas?

Hi,
Just wondered whether anyone has been to Las Vegas, and what did you think of it?

I went there in 1991 and 1995, but alot has changed since then. Dh and I are planning on going there in 2006, which will be his first visit. I love LV for the sheer size of it all and the glitz. It also makes it easier to get to the Grand Canyon which is a must see if you go all that way.

Denise, Vegas is great, really over the top glitz but a wonderful place. So much to see and do, the Grand canyon is a must see wonder of nature.

Vegas has something for everyone it only a matter of finding it.

You will love it.

Isaac.

LV is a brilliant brillian place! You drive along the desert in the middle of knowhere and all of a sudden in the distance you see these tall buildings ( if you drive ) it is amazing and when you get there you wont believe it - there is so much to see and do besides gambling - the hotels are indescribable - you have to go to believe them! It is an unforgettable experience. We stayed at the luxor which was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in!
I could go on and on!
We loved it and I would love to go back one day!

We've been there twice in the 90's (BC). A great place to visit and good for access to the Grand Canyon (a must see).
Just remember to visit the canyon from the South rim, this side is by far the most spectacular and accessible.
The casinos are brilliant. You can play the machines, shop, watch live entertainment, eat, drink and not have to spend a fortune.

Colin.
