pirate's dinner adventure

hey everyone

Does anyone know whether the pirate's dinner adventure is any good? In a Brit's guidebook it has a picture and it looks pretty impressive. Please tell me what you think, I would really like to see if we can do it when we next go to Florida!

Thanks

Have a look at this recent thread

Like most of the dinner shows it seems to get mixed reviews.

Pirates was not too bad. The food is nothing special, but the setting makes up for it. The acting is a bit OTT with staged fights etc & the storyline becomes a bit hard to follow - maybe due to a poor sound system. The kids will enjoy it more than the adults. Be prepared for the mandatory party photo on arrival which will be offered for you to buy sometime during the show for about $20. If there are two shows on in one day do the later as there is a "disco" afterwards for the kids

I agree with Earthbound. The food was very chewy and hard to see in the semi-darkness and the show - although fun to watch if you like horses was difficult to hear. It was something to do for an evening as when we went it was FOC for virgin holidaymakers but I wouldnt pay to go again.

OMG dont get me started, i thought it was the biggest pile of pap. Our kids found it highly amusing our pirate was called andre and when ever we mention pirates they crack up... i think they even thought it was crap.
Wanted to do medieval times but was out voted by the others as they had seen it before.
