Alamo Can someone explain please?
Have often seen Alamo skip the queue/counter posts but not read then as we usually go with Dollar, well guess what we are with Alamo this time.
Would someone be so kind to explain what it actually is and what it doe pleases?

HI. OLCI and skip the counter allows you to go straight to the garage and pick your own car then drive off. Thats it.
No desk clerks, no upsell nonsense

Basically skip the counter means if you complete the process of OLCI (Online Check In) then Skip the Counter you receive a document with a barcode at the top (Skip the Counter Ticket) which you take straight to the garage. You choose your vehicle from the row for the class you booked, load up then drive it to the exit barrier, present your ticket, driving licence and credit/debit card to the guy at the gate. He processes it, then lifts the barrier and you are on your way! No queueing at the counter or at the kiosks in the terminal

As long as it says near the barcode go straight to the cars as sometimes it still says go to the desk just double check x

 We have used the kiosk before and that saved time. This time we have done online checkin and printed the check in form which has the barcode at the top. Does this mean go straight to garage or kiosk?

This is a separate thing to OLCI if you book direct with Alamo when you complete OLCI theres usually a link/button to Skip The Counter. If 3rd party booking it doesn't show automatically but there's a sticky on the Cars & Transportation Forum which explains how to complete that next stage and get the Skip The Counter Ticket
