August flights
We are looking to do a west coast trip august 2019 (tied to school hols). Please can someone give me a rough idea of the prices that you have paid for this year and when you booked? We are 2 adults 2 children aged 14 and 11 and will require a car, hopefully for 20 nights. Thanks

We've flown a few times in August.
This year we're flying on the 9th August LHR - SFO / LAX - LHR and have paid £594 pp. Lowest we've paid for a while. Booked back in September on a Virgin Flash Sale. August 2107 we paid £605pp LHR-LAX-LHR flying out on the 11th booked November 2016 and in Aug 2016 we paid £796pp B'ham-SFO via DUB and back LAX-B'ham via DUB flying out on the 6th Aug booked in Feb 2016.

Thanks for replies much appreciated.
Sorry forgot to say flying from London. Good price with Thomas Cook, is that for 2019? I thought they wouldn't be released yet? |

Paid £1900 last year (BA Economy) for LHR-LAX in August. This year paid £2500 for flight into Las Vegas and out of LAX (BA Economy, again) with Avis car hire (mid size SUV) included - also in August for 18 nights.

I have no idea how people get these prices, I am always so unlucky with flights 🙄. We're going this summer holidays, LHR-LAX £3,000 for two adults, 1 young adult, 1 child with Virgin Atlantic.
