Hi, hope you don’t mind me jumping in on this thread and your comment - ive seen a couple of people now questioning if free dining is still going to exist - is there talk about this stopping? 😳

There's talk of it stopping every year but it keeps being offered again.

We're also thinking about returning at the end of August 2020 (even though I said we'd never visit in August again). This time we're thinking of staying for a little longer - maybe 3 weeks instead of the usual 2.

I won't start properly planning things until Spring next year, but it's nice to think about what I might plan. I did have a look at prices for Aug/Sept 2019 as a comparison.

Ditto. It'll also be our 25th wedding anniversary.

It's never too early for Disney! I'd really like to say we'll go in 2021, but the Wife wants to do a Northern Lights trip for her 50th. I'm secretly trying to figure out if we can do both to surprise her

We are planning to go August 2020 and Ocean Direct have given me quotes, they've guaranteed the prices with Virgin flights. I just can't decide which hotels we want!

It's probably too early to start booking most things but never to early to start planning things - that's the difference!

We are planning on August 2020 as well to see Star Wars land - giving it a miss next year so we can save up. Planning on maybe a week in Europe next year, probably across to Efteling. (Unless the exchange rate massively sorts itself out and a super-cheap stay on International Drive pops up - never say never!

Never too early to plan your next trip! Villas will be available to book already and VH have a brochure up to April 2020 out at the moment! If you’re thinking of staying in Disney, free dining (providing it’s offered) should be released in April 2019. 😀

I started planning our 2022 trip 4 years ago, hence my countdown going back 4 years early. I’ve been saving my Flying Club miles since then. DH then suggested we go in September but we’re not flying Virgin (for cost reasons,) so will continue saving for our special birthday trip in 2022, when we should hopefully have enough miles for 3 Premium Returns 😊

My planning had only got as far as save miles and go for 2 weeks in October (I’ll be 40 in Sept, DH 50 in Nov and DD 7 1/2,) our LEA is moving to 2 weeks at October half term 😃
