Now ryan air are striking
Tis the season for strikes it seems
and we have a flight booked on one of the days is there anything to be done to pre-empt and make it less stressful or is it a wait and see if the strike actually happens? Not happened to me before so don't know what I can or cannot do? |

DD has a trip to Berlin booked for the Sep dates. I guess at the moment all she can do is wait and hope the strike is averted.

Ryanair pilot strike
Seen on the news that there will be strikes on 22-23rd August. We are due to fly back from Dublin to Glasgow on 23rd with Ryan air. Would I have been contacted if our flight is going to be cancelled or will it be a case of turn up at the airport with our fingers crossed?
Would we be entitled to compensation if we are cancelled or delayed? Thanks

You won't be contacted until a couple of days before. I would think that a lot of flights will operate as normal.
