Order pints of Guinness, not halves. Way overcharge for halves

The Guinness Factory is worth a visit. Go around lunch time and spend the afternoon, it’s a great atmosphere with bands playing etc.

Get tickets for the hop on hop off bus. The Guinness Factory was good and so was the jail. Really interesting.

HOHO buses have great guides giving commentary so it’s a great way to see lots of the place and see if there’s anywhere you want to go back to.

Guinness factory is very interesting with a lovely panoramic bar at the top. Phoenix park is nice for a walk around. Temple Bar is a tourist trap but is good fun. Nice restaurants and shops around St Stephen’s Green. Kilmainham Gaol is an interesting museum. The library at Trinity College 😍.

And take plenty of euros!

I`d second this. We stopped the Guinness store which was well worth doing, and also Kilmainham Gaol, which was excellent.
It`s a great city but it can be pricey. DEFINATELY go for the pints of Guinness thought, it was something like 5 euro for a pint and 4 for a half!
Temple Bar was great at night, very touristy but aren`t we tourists? Lots of bars with live music and plenty of food on offer

another vote for Kilmainham Gaol & the guinness factory tour with a 'free' pint at the end

Temple Bar is a good laugh and as above we are tourists so by definition these places are touristy, just embrace it for what it is... a good day and even better night out
