Would you cancel?

Due to go Cyprus in may 2021 but the balance is due feb. I'm unsure whether or not to reschedule. Obviously nobody knows what the future holds with everything but I dont fancy forking out over an extra £500 for covid tests in the hope they get back in time for my flight and subjecting my kids to them possibly twice.. Before and possibly when we arrive again. I'm also hearing masks are mandatory on the beaches too. Do you think I should wait until when my balance is due then decide or just reschedule until later in the year. Anyone that's been to Cyprus lately. How was it?

If it were me I'd wait until new year at least before thinking of cancelling. May 21 is months away, and I think we will be in a much better position with Covid by then, as will other countries.

I've got flights to Portogual booked for April 21, and I'm just considering bòoking for Barcelona in June 21. The only thing I'm hesitating on that is because it's for a outdoor gig. I'm wondering if large gatherings will be allowed by then.

I also wouldn’t be giving this any thought one way or the other at the moment. Decide in February.

My brother is just back from Cyprus at the weekend and they have just made it mandatory to wear masks at all times. Previously it was just in shops/restaurants. Cyprus hasn't had very many cases of COVID up to now and I guess they are hoping to keep it that way! Still too early to tell what it will be like come May. I'm ever the optimist, so if it were me I probably wouldn't be cancelling and hoping that things would improve by then. May is a lovely time to be there.
