Being serious you aren't alone. I see it all around our Neighborhood. Some houses leave them out for days on end. Most weird.

My next door Neighbour and I look after each others but some in the Cul de Sac are still out today even though bin day was Wednesday.

You want to live on our sub division in Florida bin can’t go out before dusk day before collection and must be in before midnight on collection day or the HOA fine you and the City inspector can also levy a fine so $50 if it’s still out Friday morning
Oh and it must be out of site and so many feet from the front of the property line
Wish we could do that here although we do all take neighbours bins in and leave them as far up or down the drive as possible

If it really bugs you that much, put it where they park their car so they have to interact with it. Although talking to them first would be the best first step.

The recycling van can’t get any further past our house and so they park outside our house, walk on and collect the recycling bins and leave them all on my drive. So much fun getting home from a 12 hour day and moving 5 recycling bins in the dark and pouring rain. Drives me up the wall. 😞

they are supposed to return the bins to where they got them from and not leave them to cause an obstruction. report to the council

Our neighbour has had a big ugly wooden pallet out the front of their house for over a fortnight , it had a bath panel delivered on it so they took that inside and left the pallet!
We don’t have front gardens as such , just small patches of grass so it’s very noticeable.
I’m so glad I’m moving soon ...

I meant where the have to move it to park, not just park and ignore it. So they have to get out of the car move it to park.

Pull it up to their front door, ring the bell and run away.
