What cheese

Is best for cutting into small pieces and wrapping in bacon and then cooking? We used to be able to buy them but not this year! 😧. And for me it is the best part of the meal.

I use halloumi, which is a grilling cheese. You can buy it in blocks and cut it to your preferred size, then either pop into a frying pan over medium heat or place onto an oven tray (I spray with fry light first) and then bake at about 160 deg c for 10 mins or so, just be sure to keep an eye on it.

I remember those! M&S used to do them, and lidl caught on too!

We called them the chefs treats as used to pick at them while cooking the Xmas Dinner. They were gorgeous 😍

Must be some kind of cheese mix as the cheese never melted and burnt before the bacon cooked.

We made some the other week with parma ham and Iberico cheese as we could not find any in the shops.
