The 777 have the 3-3-3 apart from the back few rows of 2-4-2. These were £72 each seat each way.
While not happy about it to me it’s worth it not to have to sit next to anyone

On the breakdown of my fare, I paid £1 for the return flights the rest was tax. I really dont know how the airlines can survive. They must be carrying a lot of cargo, that's all I can think

We always "bite the bullet" as has been said here, for the seats by the emergency exits. It's a higher cost of course but we really like the extra legroom as I'm just over 6ft and like to be able to stretch out with no one in front of me.

It's a massive additional cost that must be weighed up against the time actually on the plane. Leg room isn't so bad in normal seats now the seats aren't as chunky as before. The whole 3 seats thing though... I've been caught with that before and had someone who didn't want to shut up all the way to Egypt (5 hours)...!

I had 3 seats to myself to put my legs up and they gave me 3 little bottles of wine with my meal too !
