Will give you a wave, we get off on the 21st. Won’t be sad though. Been invited to a birthday party that night then we have a 14 night cruise to Croatia and the Greek islands in September with our son on Azura. back on Iona next year to the Canaries. Got 5 cruises booked in the next couple of years.

We are on the 2nd July Fjords cruise on Iona and previously sailed on the Xmas cruise. That's was our first trip away in 17 years without our Daughter and missed her so much we decided we would take her on one this year.

As others have said she is a beautiful ship, we did most of the Speciality Restaurants although the food was outstanding wherever you eat.

Sindhi was the only place I wouldn't return too but not because the anything was bad we just found the menu quite small so nothing we wanted to go back again for.

Epicurean afternoon tea was amazing and we also did the afternoon tea in the MDR which was good no costs option.
We also did the ice cream afternoon tea at ripples which for £11.50 was outstanding. ( note don't get one each we struggled to finish it between the 2 of us)

We ate at Keel and Cow twice, Steak the first time which again was outstanding and then the Prime Minister Burger the second time which was nice but I think is over rated.

Can't wait to go again...

Can I ask, do you all book direct or use a TA?

Direct with P&O. Have looked at other cruise lines but we like the prices with P&O. Always do it online too rather than phone

I booked via Iglucruise all very simple you get booking reference within minutes and then you can manage your booking via the P&O site.

There was a glitch with the P&O site that stopped me booking my daughter in the same room as us so I used Iglu again.

This year I have booked with Cruise118 and we have booked with them before.
Last year with Iona to get the NHS discount I had to book direct with P & O. They were always a nightmare to contact. I understand the staff shortages but their customer service with bookings was really poor.

I priced up with lots of companies but booked over the phone and Cruise118 pricematched.
