Verifly
Has anyone flown Edinburgh - Heathrow - Orlando with B.A. and chosen not to use or have been unable to use the Verifly app. We fly this route next month and are concerned as to what happens at Edinburgh if we have been unable to upload the necessary info on to Verifly.and need to check in at the airport.
Will they check our paperwork there and check us in right through to Orlando or will they only check us in for the Heathrow leg which would mean we would then be required to check in at Heathrow for our Orlando flight. Hope someone might have been in this situation and can advise as to what happens. |

If you can’t upload your documents to Verifly you will provide the check in agent at Edinburgh with your paperwork and there will be no need to do anything with it at Heathrow as they will check you in thru to MCO

Thanks for the info and for putting our minds at rest. Our concern was the time we would need at Heathrow if we had to join the check in queue. Now we need to keep our fingers crossed that we can get everything successfully uploaded to Verifly and we can check in online to save lots of hassle.

Hi,
We fly on Thursday and had exactly the same concerns as I always have issues with my vaccination status failing to scan. DH uploaded his status by downloading the PDF to his phone and uploading to verifly - worked automatically. True to form I tried to do the same and it failed to upload - there’s a manual option to upload a file that then goes for checking - it came back in about 15mins (although it was about 1am). Just need to be negative with the antigen test tomorrow - we’re using Expresstest at the airport which we’ve used before and I know they send a ‘fit to fly’ document so I am now pretty confident I’ll be able to upload that. Worst case scenario is a manual checkin which I’m hoping will be quite quiet with so few flights leaving from Edinburgh. |

I struggled to get my vaccination status uploaded earlier today. On the 4th attempt, I took a photo of the paper copy, uploaded & that worked fine.

Just finished Verifly and checked in 🥳
I uploaded the test result through the manual option and it was verified almost instantly. Verifly turned out to be far easier than expected 🙃 |

That's good. We have downloaded the app and will see how we get on when it comes to uploading our documents.
Have a good holiday. |
