Question for the experts 😜
Would you go beginning of July when Americans are on school holiday or end of august when the Americans schools go back but English school Holidays are on?
(Crowds wise in the parks) |

I have never been at the beginning of July, but have at the end of August and I have always understood that to be a better time with the crowd levels lower.

Definitely end of August. When we had to go during school holidays, The end of August was much less busy than July.

No brainer really. July to around the 15th August you will hit moderate crowds form around 16th August you will experience light crowds. definitely avoid 1st to 5th July as this sees heavy crowds due to 4th July holidays.

English school holidays have no bearing on how busy the parks are.

Another non-expert, but went once end of August/start of September and it was great, decent weather on the most part, and Food and Wine and Halloween season were both on which is always fun! Crowds weren't too bad either.
Downside for me with that trip was that it was hurricane season and I ended up cutting my trip short by a few days because of a hurricane...

We always go as late as possible in the school summer holidays, returning the day before school.
Prices drop the later you go usually and crowds are better. |

If you want cheaper flights, go at the beginning of July.
If you want lower crowds, go at the end of August. If you want both, go in September. |
