So Mary and Romain were already married (in a courthouse) when he proposed with the "it's not a diamond, ring".
I understand that it's likely down to the series creators etc, hence why they were there in time to film it... but why a fake ring? He'd have had time to save up for a decent ring by then surely. So was "ring gate" fake too?
