The couple are still trying to appeal. Their lawyer believes they have a chance as the science behind distinguishing who coughed where in the studio is now far superior and they can tell from a recording who it was who coughed. I suspect Celador pushed it as they couldn't afford to lose another million, something just didn't add up. Even I knew the £1,000,000 answer, it wasn't fhat hard.

It was also surprising that the couple also went to some of the filming for Quiz as well.

The way he answered the call (which was well broadcast at the time) made him seem guilty but I can certainly see that it’s quite plausible he didn’t cheat.

I watched all three episodes today. Just curious as to why this has been made after 19 years and whether there have ever been any other appeals?
