Anything with impressions or impersonations leaves me cold. I hated all the 80’s/90’s sketch shows and whilst it’s not the same format, I just hate it.
Mrs Merton (RIP of course) had the same effect on me

That went well then... nightmare flop - lowest ratings since 2011... still we have them for another 6 years 🤪

I watched a few when it started. It has imho, become tired, jaded and repetitive. There truly cannot be another 6 years of run in it.

The best series for me are often very short, sharp and out.. Fawlty towers, Raised by Wolves (comedy programme) and the fabulous ‘Derry Girls’ spring to mind. Some jokes and scenarios have a limited lifespan unless you can make the story evolve as in ‘Friends’.
