I like frugal! we’re here at the moment on a split stay, our ddp expired yesterday, I used up our last few credits getting breakfast items to last us until we go home and lunch for today, zero credits left! but we did have a delivery mostly of wine!

We filled our water bottles up from the kiosks in a similar way without a resort mug (never tried for milk).
Ah, didn't think of that. Not sure I would feel comfortable doing that though. If I'm filling my mug, I feel like I'm legitimate, whereas filling a random container would make me feel a bit shifty. not saying it is, it's just how I would feel Happy to pay a few $ for the convenience of a carton of milk. It's all we do spend on food when we're there!

For us with ddp we always do a quick shop, some drinks, crisps and some milk and cereal . Some mornings we would have some breakfast before say going to a water park etc and use credits for morning coffee stop, snack credit, with the dinning plan we would always do 2/3 x 2 credit meals. Counter service some evening places like blaze pizza which is very good.
