I once dealt with a guy who stole a string of sausages and a toilet duck. He shoved them in his underpants.

I remember it more for the fact that at the conclusion of the interview when I asked him if he wanted to say anything else he replied ‘It’s a fair cop gov, your too good for me’. In many, many hundreds of interviews, that was the only time that anyone ever used that line.

He got a conditional discharge and his comment reached the local newspapers by Court Report. Strangely Tesco did not want the goods returned!

Yes. Spirits concealed on the underneath tray that you find on some older trolleys. Of course, the barcoders/ checkout staff can’t see down there.

Staff at our Aldi ran out after someone a few weeks ago and then he just casually walked back with them.

We were in kennelgate last year, I was at the till and I saw a guy getting two cat baskets down of a shelf. As we left he was in front and just let the door go on me but then I realised he hadn't been to pay as I was the only one there. Next minute off he ran with the baskets. DH went back to let the staff know as they had CCTV.

I've also stood in the queue at Aldi and a man walked out with a Dyson, just after that he happened the security man came back.

It must happen quite often where I live.

No wonder at £40 a bra...high street don't stock my size though so it's no use to me, I need to go to the ship yard!
