Collecting car after landing at 1130pm Orlando?

Will be collecting a car at Orlando from Avis after landing at 2330.

Is it any different than any other time of the day?

Thanks

We had a 2 hour wait at the Avis counter in December at midnight, I could have stood there and cried! I have Avis Preferred but the special desk on the car park was closed and my name wasn’t on the board. They hadn’t got enough cars available and we’re having to clean them whilst people waited. I hope I just arrived on a busy day and you get a car much quicker than I did.

Hi, oh that's not good.
I am not planning on a park day the next day as we get in so late.
Flights getting there earlier or direct are so much more expensive on BA i think any wait will be worth the money saved going indirect.

I've responded to your other thread about flying into Philadelphia so I think you're booking/have booked the same BA package as we did last December. The price of indirect vs direct was huge. We all slept on the Philadelphia to Orlando leg and had a lazy day (late IHOP breakfast, Walmart, Target, pool time and Cracker Barrel) the next day so the travel times weren't too bad. The car delay wasn't fun though but quickly forgotten as soon as you see the signs for Disney.

I arrived after midnight last year. Collecting the car was a breeze even with alamo terminals down so I had to go to the desk it didnt take that long. Leaving the airport at that time of night was a dream as the roads were so empty.
