The KFC was just in a standard lunch bag with the insulated lining. We'd chilled it overnight and would have taken it out of the fridge right before we left the house at about 6am. It was still cool when we opened it, which I think would have been about 4pm(ish).

I can't remember if we looked into the rules about taking ice packs, but I'm sure they would probably fall under the 100ml fluids rule, so worth checking out.

Our original plan was to buy a Greggs at the airport, if your GS like that. I think this is what we'll do next year.

Thankyou. I will defo give that a try for GS, and he does like Greggs to, so thanks for that suggestion to especially as looking at your inflight meals there is nothing there that he would eat. I’m going to take a look at your trip report too.
