If a park closes at say 10pm, and Q time for a ride is 45 minutes at 9.30pm will the ride still go?

Im thinking with both Disney and Universal in mind, and if the Q time is longer than the park closing time, is the Q turned away at close, even if you have waited say 30 minutes in it, or do they close the q at the park close time, and carry on with the ride to get through all those in the Q?
Any advise welcome in advance

thanks

They will rope off the line. Anybody ahead of that rope gets to ride.

I'm pretty sure it is the ride queues that close at the stated time not the rides.

For example, if a park is scheduled to close at 10pm and you join a 30minute queue at 9:45 then you'll wait in the queue until you've been on the ride (unless the ride breaks down or something) They don't 'chuck you out of the queue' at 10pm so to speak.

They won't let you queue if you can't ride. Usually the queue closes st the stated time and anyone in the queue will be allowed on the ride. But if something has a ridiculously long queue, that may stop people joining before closing time.
