Let me tell you what I like about your plan.

I have actually decided that for the MOST PART, we prefer using our TS credits at breakfast or lunch as well. Mostly because I KNOW what park we'll be at each morning/early afternoon - and then we can play our nights by ear (which I quite like). So despite it not "maximising" the value of our credits - it works better for us - and it may for you as well. I hope so!

I would, however, do as magickate and sha9 have suggested and swap your Y&Y QS for the TS. Yak & Yeti is like a lovely, cool oasis to me on our HOT Animal Kingdom days. And if you have a Landry's card you don't have to book. Just rock up and eat.

There's not enough Mickey waffles there for me we used a lot of QS on breakfasts exchanging drinks for snacks.
We're staying At SSR. My understanding is you can but obviously not such good value for money. We're getting it free so not bothered. We won't go hungry. Also worried about tips adding up.

Anyone got a rough idea how much tips are going to come to for a 2 week holiday please xx

ballpark figure $7 per person per TS meal with a generous tip (around 19 or 20%

2 weeks with 14 TS meals with 3 adults + 1 Child (your DD10 is an adult for DDP) you're in for a rough $350 in tips if you spend your 14 TS credits if you tip 20% and $300 if you tip 15%

Thank you. That's the plan. With a 7 year old and a 10 year with medical needs we are much more fluid for our evenings, so don't want to be tied down xx

This is useful... but can I ask (sorry to jump on your thread!) Why people suggest yak and yeti TS over the qs? I potentially have a TS credit left over and was thinking of using it there, but decided I could just use the qs. Is the quality of the food much different?

I could be mistaken but the menu is much more expansive, utterly delicious and as you may be aware, AK is scorchingly hot compared to other parks. Getting in and seated in the air con is fantastic

Ahh ok. I was thinking of a dinner reservation but now you mentioned the heat might go for a lunch reservation to take advantage in the midday sun. Thankyou
