Tbh if I had no interest in Pandora then I'd avoid AK on Pandora opening day, would imagine it will be heaving and personally I wouldn't want to tackle those crowds on our first morning. Would imagine most Disney resort guests will be heading there at the same time.

Great idea - always figure our where the crowd is headed and go the opposite way! You could always have a stroll round Pandora before you leave the park if energy levels are sufficient.

Hmmmm, I'm struggling with what to do the day after opening because I probably rather stupidly, booked pandora fastpasses in the evening. We are here now and got talking to a local person who reckons there will be something like 49,000 people expected in the park for opening and the issue won't be rides as such, but actually getting in.
I didn't think at all about park capacity being full when I booked evening fast passes...
Now I'm not sure how to strategise around getting to the park and finding it's one in, one out...

Book an adr. They always let you in if you have an adr.

Plan paid off 🖒
Went yesterday to AK and it was brilliant . Didn't go anywhere near Pandora and got everything we wanted to get done even managing a 4th fast pass and walked straight onto a couple of things x
