Oh dear! Sorry. Fast pass questions.

My tickets arrived today. I have my mde account set up. Do I need to wait until my 30 day window to link them?
I am sure I read somewhere that I can link them at this early stage and also that I can make dummy fast pass bookings to get some practice in, so long as I cancel them, without it activating my passes/ tickets. I don't want to risk doing it wrong. It's too expensive a mistake to make.
I don't go until September and I am staying offsite. Thanks.

Link them and practice

The only way to activate them is to go through a tapstile, so don't worry

I just worried because I thought I was correct but wanted to be absolutely sure. I asked on another forum and one of the administrators replied, who goes numerous times every year, and is very knowledgable, yet she had never heard of being able to do this. She said to wait until my 30 day window.

Id linked mine and done dummy runs before my fastpass window opened this week.

For those who stay on site disney knows when their fastpass window opens at 60 days and so they cant do dummy runs but those of us who stay off site and already have our actual disney park tickets can do as disney have no actual idea when we will be using our tickets.

I found it really helpful being able to familiarise myself with booking fastpasses before hand and have been able to get what we want so far each day
