Rides that are tame like Small World - vertigo Traveller
So in the past year my mum has taken 6 bouts of Vertigo. She's not had an attack for a while now and we've heading Stateside on Wednesday.
Can someone let me know what attractions there are in Magic Kingdom that are as tame as Small World or Under the Sea? want to compose a list for a day in MK Want to have a good day with her there (70th birthday!) but want to make sure I get rides that are simple and tame so as not to risk triggering any Vertigo... Btw she's been with the consultant and has been tested for positional vertigo and he said she does not have that so they are pretty sure she will be fine - just want to take it easy this year on rides...

Queen of Team Wimp reporting for duty!
I will happily ride: IASW Peter Pan Winnie the Pooh Carousel Teacups (unless spinny rides are a problem?) Buzz Lightyear People mover Carousel of Progress Under the Sea Dumbo Jungle Cruise Aladdin's Carpets Pirates Haunted Mansion Plus all the shows - Philharmagic, Hall of Presidents, Country Bears (but you want her to have a nice birthday, right?!) And the paddle steamer. And character meets of course. In fact the only things I won't ride are the 'Mountains'. Edited at 11:46 AM. |

Thanks for this list, I can only face doing the more 'gentle' rides so I've ear-marked this thread. Xx

Gosh, now I am impressed. I always thought I was just about one level up from Team Wimp but nothing on earth would get me on those teacups!

Although the following thread is a bit out of date now, it gives you an idea of which rides are suitable for any age (i.e. Team Wimp):

Winnie the Pooh, Haunted Mansion (my favourite ride), Carousel of Progress, Jungle Cruise should all the tame enough not to cause any problems.
