BOG breakfast reservation- 7DMT
Hi,
Quick question... We have a 8.10 reservation for BOG, do you think it's still wise to FP 7DMT at 60 days out? Family of 4 - end of August. Any advice would be greatly appreciated |

What time does the park open that day and is there am emh? If the park opens at 9, you may be able to join the stand by queue nice and early!

We have an 8am reservation and hoping to do the same but as we are going at the end of July and it will be busy, I am fully expecting Disney to change the opening time to 8am instead of 9am which it is currently so will then cancel our breakfast reservation. Might just be something you need to consider.

I'd ask two questions... if you get a pre-RD ride on 7DMT, would you want to re-ride? What other rides/attractions would you be wanting to FP?
If the first is a yes, I'd definitely book a FP in addition. That should also cover you if you don't beat RD or they don't allow you onto the ride for some other reason, e.g. if it's down first thing. For the second, is there any of those you'd be willing to risk either a walk on for (e.g. quite a few rides usually have short queues for the first hour) or waiting to see if there's a FP once you can rebook? I would book the FP. You could always cancel it through the app if you get to ride after BoG and decide it's a one and done. |

We did this last week. We left BOG at around 8:45 and a CM had formed a line. A few minutes later she walked us round to the ride and we were able to ride twice before hoards of people poured into Fantasyland! This was a 9am opening though.

I would definitely book a 7DMT FP. It was the only ride where I did not see a single fast pass available on the day for our entire trip earlier this month.
Also we found the queue built up very quickly. One BOG breakfast day we were very lucky and got to ride three or four times before park opened, they must have been testing it or something. On both our BOG days we got one ride after breakfast but by ten past 9am I would say the queue was at 45 minute wait. It is the one everyone flocks too. |
