I'm veggie and had the veggie quiche which was a strange breakfast option and not very warm. There was also the cronut you could have I might have had it but it was too early in the day for me to eat something so sweet. The open faced sandwich sounds like it might be a good choice if you can have it without bacon.

Hopefully you'll be able to grab a lunch ADR nearer the time, we much prefer lunch to breakfast there. Pre ordering is great as saves an extra queue! You can add/remove parts easily too.

Could I ask where have you seen this? Walk ups were still accepted in May and the Disney website just says recommendations are strongly recommended but nothing new about not accepting walk ups that I can see.

It was quite tasty but wasn't very warm. I didn't really bother me though and I would defiantly have it again.

Yea. I mean obviously it is unlikely you'll be able to get in as a walk up particularly in the busiest times but a family in front of us did last month.
