California Grill - Contemporary Resort
My absolute favourite restaurant ever! I do have a love affair with the Contemporary resort which I cannot explain, especially when it was once described as the place where the Goodyear blimps came to mate However I digress, a great restaurant with great food on top of a great resort Happy me The refurb has been done really well and the restaurant looks fab. However stop the press... the napkins have changed from green to ORANGE! The amazing view from our window table Some drinks to get us started Spicy Kazan Roll Crab, Shrimp, Scallops, Tuna, Fireball Sauce $26.00 Pork Two Ways Grilled Tenderloin, Goat Cheese Polenta, Mushrooms, Lacquered Belly, Applesauce $39.00 Oak-fired Filet of Beef Heirloom Tomato Risotto, Baby Vine Tomatoes, Tiny Basil, Tomato Butter $49.00 Vanilla Crème Brûlée - THE BEST EVER! Rich Vanilla Custard, Caramelized Turbinado Sugar, and Local Plant City Strawberries $12.00 Chef's Selection Cheese Board Selection of Five unique Cheeses with Accompaniments $20.00 After the desserts we timed it just right to watch Wishes from the table We usually go out onto the rooftop observation deck to watch the fireworks but as we had such a great table we stayed put, I like the floating bar in the pictures too! lol

Boatwrights - Port Orleans Riverside
We ate here last year for the first time and loved the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately we timed it badly as Yehaa Bob Jackson was on in the River Roost lounge and it was so loud it spoiled the atmosphere. I know many, many people love Bob but it really is not our cup of tea... so this time we made sure we went on a night he wasn't performing so we could have a nice quiet drink in the lounge after the meal. WARM Cornbread! Crawfish Ètouffée Crawfish simmered in a rich Seafood Sauce over Rice $17.99 Slow-roasted Prime Rib with Horseradish Mashed Potatoes and Red Wine Demi-glace $31.49 Seasonal Bread Pudding - YUK This was the worst dessert of the holiday, it has the consistency of rubber and a weird herb taste House-made Bread Pudding with Ice Cream and Seasonal accompaniments $5.49 Pecan Pie a traditional Southern favorite $5.99

Wolfgang Puck Express - Downtown Disney Marketplace
Well I don't think that this needs much of an introduction to my fellow Dibbers! Fantastic value on the DDP as this is a QS credit, great food and lots of choice. I'm still amazed that this is still a QS credit and is always on our list each year. Bacon-wrapped Meatloaf Mashed Potatoes, Port Wine Sauce and Onion Rings $16.00 Roasted Turkey Cobb Romaine, Arugula, Eggs, Green Beans, Tomatoes, Avocado, Bacon, Gorgonzola and Balsamic Vinaigrette $14.00 Barbecued Chicken Smoked Mozzarella, Cilantro and Carmalized Onions $14.00 Roasted Mushroom Goat Cheese, Arugula and Garlic Cream Sauce $13.00 Desserts

Narcoossee's - Grand Floridian Resort
This is firmly Mum and Dad's favourite restaurant. The location on the edge of Seven Seas Lagoon is perfect, the lobster is amazing and a must do each time we visit WDW. It is a signature restaurant but is good value for the price of some of the meals here, $75 for one entrée! :s Bread Amazing mango smoothie, this is a drink on the DDP but no refills Maine Lobster Bisque Butter-poached Lobster, Bouchée, Coral, and Chives $13.00 Two-Pound Steamed Maine Lobster Fallen Corn Soufflé with Malted Popcorn Sauce and Broccolini $69.00 Butter-poached Canadian Waters Lobster Tail with Black Angus NY Strip Steak Smoked Boniato-Idaho Creamed Potatoes, Rainbow Baby Carrots, and Herbed Cabernet-Oxtail Reduction $75.00 Blueberries and Lemon Curd Tart Blueberries, Lemon Cream, and Meringue with Tarocco Orange Sorbet $11.00 Artisanal Cheeses Five tasting portions from around the world with accompaniments $19.00 Coconut and Chocolate Crème Brûlée Layered Coconut and Chocolate with Whipped Chantilly Cream and Toasted Coconut $11.00

Landscape of Flavours - Art of Animation resort
We went here last year, mainly for the surf and surf burger and we really liked the food and the theming of the resort so we went back again this year. The surf and surf burger did not disappoint for me and Dad so being the creatures of habit back we went Surf and Surf Burger Crab Cake, Fried Popcorn Shrimp, Tomato, Lettuce, and Cajun Remoulade on a Brioche Bun with Coleslaw or House-seasoned Fries $11.49 Create-Your-Own Burger 1/3 lb Angus Burger with choice of Cheese and Toppings on a Multigrain Kaiser with Coleslaw or House-seasoned Fries $11.49 Magic cookie bar

Eat around the World (kind of) - Epcot, World Showcase
We had a small selection of meals and snacks around World Showcase. We try this every year but end up being too full to finish it! lol In a couple of years when we don't have to go in school holidays we will be able to do it properly with the Food and Wine festival First stop was Germany Currywurst Pan-seared fine Brat with Curry Ketchup, Curry Seasoning and House-made Paprika Chips $9.29 Nothing like the real Currywurst in Berlin unfortunately. I will have to wait to go back to Berlin to get the real thing. Next stop, Japan; Katsura Grill Chicken Cutlet Curry fried Cutlet, topped with Beef Curry served over Steamed Rice $12.99 This was really nice, it was kind of like a spicy stew with rice. Would be amazing on a cold winter night, not 100 degree heat and 100% humidity! lol Tokyo Sushi Combo 4 pcs. California Roll & 3 pcs. Nigiri $9.99 The world (or Dibb famous) Cronut... I mean Croissant doughnut. OMG this was sooooo good, it was a little doughy but had a crispy shell and lovely flavour. We also had some goodies from Karamell-Küche and an ice cream from l'artisan des glaces but they were so amazing I forgot to take a photo! Must try harder next time
