I love that pearl glass too!

Kat 😀
Trader Sams was lots of fun, some of the glasses are very snazzy, but $44!

Day 3- Cracker Barrel and Garden Grill.

We started today at 5.30, which would become a pattern for the days to come. We decided that today we would have a breakfast off of site. And chose somewhere we hadn't been before- Cracker Barrel.

We ordered different things off of the menu so that we could share. I had the "Big Mommas" French toast and DH had the "sampler"

The food on the whole was tasty, but the fried apples, grits and gravy weren't for me!

The French toast was nice but I think it could have been cooked a bit longer.

We then went to target, where we bought lots of Oreos to take home, cinnamon roll, Halloween, candy corn and pumpkin spice.

We returned to the room to go to Epcot for the afternoon/evening, so decided to get a chicken nugget meal to share, we swapped the soft drink for a strawberry mango smoothie, and also got a Mickey rice crispy treat. This should have been a $24 but we used a QS Credit.

This meal, was awful fries were cold, chicken was dry. The smoothie was tasty, but almost slushy. We haven't eaten the crispy treat yet.
We haven't rushed back to the food court since.

For dinner we went to the Garden Grill somewhere we had seen lots of reviews for.
The food is served family style.
We started with salad, which had a creamy dressing, egg bacon etc. This was lovely. We were also served some bread, we were not keen on this as it was very sweet. This was taken away very quickly in preparation for the big event.

The skillet was bought out instantly.
And we were given- roast turkey, roast beef, sausage, green beans, dumpling, macaroni cheese and sweet potato fries. This was delicious. We made quick work of the first skillet, the turkey was lovely and moist and the mash creamy. The beef had peppery seasoning which was very tasty. We ate some of the macaroni cheese, but the sweet potato fries had cinnamon on them... And that's just wrong.

We were bought a second skillet, this one was tasty too but had much more garlic on than the first.

Pudding was a Strawberry Shortcake, I would describe it as a dry Victoria sponge with tinned fruit and cream, I did not like it but DH did it some damage.

This should have been $88 but we used 2 TS credits and left 20% tip.

Our tip would be not to eat too late as we felt that our server Nancy was keen to get home and the interactions with the characters were very rushed, although I haven't heard anyone else say this.

Daily spend: $66 (including drinks throughout the day!)

Steps: 23596
Miles walked: 10.25
