It’s a bit late now but have you thought about using Rider Switch? It might be helpful on your next trip, whenever that may be! You just need to find the CM at the entrance, let them know which one of you is riding first and who is staying behind with the child (or whatever reason you have for not riding together). Then they’ll put a rider switch ticket onto the second person’s magic band so that they have all day to go back onto the ride via the fp queue - or at least that’s how it worked last summer. Might make it easier for you both to enjoy the big rides. We made a lot of use of RS last summer - it’s great!
Loving the trip report too!

Hi! Yeah we did think of it originally but decided not to bother! I had 3 FPs booked anyway so we didn't really need it - it seemed just as quick and easy to just use those, and it so happened that in our whole trip, we only twice went on a ride Myla couldn't join us for! Thank you for the tip though, super helpful!

Another fabulous day in AK. Thank you for the OKW review too. We should be there right now so it’s been lovely looking at it via your photos instead. Hopefully we will be able to get there in the next couple of years instead!

Another fantastic day at AK today. I think it is my favourite park. Collecting autographs from all the characters is quite an achievement.
Old Key West is a very pretty resort. We stayed there on our first visit and loved the space and tranquility.
