Virgin Vouchers and Reward Vouchers - Booking to avoid expiry
I have a number of Virgin Atlantic Customer Vouchers to spend and also some reward/companion vouchers to spend also.
The earliest ones to expire at the Customer Vouchers at the end of this year, and then the first reward/companion voucher expires in July 2021. I don't have any idea of when we will be wanting to travel yet but I need to get something booked as to avoid the voucher expiry. Has anyone been in the same situation and what have they done? - It looks like I am going to need to just book a flight on random dates and then immediately convert it to an open ticket - which will then be valid to use until December 2022. Have I missed something, or is my understanding correct ? I was wondering if I book for 2 people (using the companion voucher) the open ticket for 2 people will be linked so I couldn't then use it for 2 separate travel dates for one person (if that makes sense) ? Thanks in advance |

Virgin extended companion vouchers if I’m correct, first by six months then a further six recently. Worth messaging them to clarify.
