Bedroom makeover
We moved into this 1960s bungalow about 7 years ago. We didn't have the money to bash it down and start over so we're having to revamp it room by room.. This is the latest project. Now I apologise in advance of the state of the room - it was beyond revolting, I know. I scrubbed those grotty skirtings for yonks - I don't know what was on them.. think it was just smeg
 I started off by stripping the wallpaper off a May Bank Holiday weekend - it was roasting! It has taken a long time as we're both working full-time. Getting a plasterer (or rather, plaster) was an issue.. but my partner did pretty much everything else apart from wardrobes. So here goes: here are obviously the before pics      And ta-daaarr!

That is beautiful
Gosh thought our "before" was bad but you must really have grit to stay there in those conditions Is that a paint effect around the room that looks like a dropped ceiling/lighting area? and are they Ikea wardrobes, as we are looking at getting some and they look brilliant! Good luck with the next bits
