Better than Universal Cabana Bay

Hi

We've been staying at Universal's Cabana Bay for a few years and really loved it.

It is not too big, has massive amount of facilities including

food court
starbucks
bowling
2 large pools - one with waterslide
Lazy River
Walk in to Volcano Bay
Family Suites with small kitchen area and breakfast bar

But I was wondering if anyone could suggest any alternative with similar facilities at a similar price.

We don't really want to be in the Disney bubble, but looking at prices it would cost double to stay in a similar sized room with Disney.

Not asking much I know!

I think your going to be hard pushed to beat it to be honest, especially the price point and being onsite at universal, it has fantastic facilities as you mentioned and looks like its ticked all your boxes, I do feel that to come anywere near it you would have to stay onsite at disney.

thanks! - I was thinking about Margheritaville resort, it's just that the main accommodation is quite a ways from the water park onsite - although it seems to have its own street with restaurants that look nice.

The only other thing is it's a ways away from anywhere else.

Has anybody out there stayed there?
