Midlands - more Nottingham or "Nottnum" If you've seen Once Upon a Time it's a bit like the way Will Scarlett talks I guess...

I worked at one of the large law firms in London about 20 years ago and when it was someone's birthday they would ask what cake everyone wanted and I would always ask for a current bun. They all thought it was hilarious the way I said current bun

I call it fly cemetery (its what my mother called it (she said it was Orkadian term as my other Grannie from The Borders hadn’t heard of it)) and this is the first time I have heard it used since she died - great memories (and great cake/slice) - so is what I say in London at the bakers so it may catch on here too

I love that Wills shows his normal side. My Dad was a proper Eastender, but he loved words and never stopped learning, I am like him, so that might be why people think I'm posh, I use a lot of words

Mind you, I have to say I sound more 'London' the more I drink! lol
