New guy arrived today, he works for himself and can’t believe how the place has been left, he’s taken photos and some of out the front garden and sent them to the owner.
This isn’t due to them using the loo and the other lack of manners lol this is bedside he’s injured his leg or foot or something.

You knew that they were going to want to use the toilet so why not tell them where it was and that they could use it as required when they arrived?

As a workman I rarely got told where the toilet was by a customer when I turned up to do at least a full day's work in their house (I also haven't told tradespeople where the toilet is in my house).
I think it's wrong that a tradesperson working downstairs just walks upstairs without even asking let alone uses the toilet without asking. I would never go into any room or area of a customer's home without asking first. |

No, I would expect even if I did that they would still mention or dare I
say “ask” the first time ! The new tiler who came said the same and that’s what he does. Actually not accurate as honestly I have had the kitchen done and an upstairs bathroom in the last couple of years and I assume the workmen must have gone when they took a break for lunch. To reiterate I DO NOT mind people using my loo! Even in these covid times 😌

Anyway it’s almost there. Really happy with it . They just have to for the door trim and cover a bit of the radiator .
I think to be honest the young lad helping should have been put on another job due to the space they had to work in.

Looking really nice, money well spent.
Don't the wash hand basins and loos look so much better when they are installed within a unit. I detest seeing pedestals on sinks and also loo tanks. Nice job. Edit. Your loo roll is on the wrong way. Ahh a whole new thread - which way do you put you loo roll on the holder.
