Marriage License - Notary?

Hi everyone

I am getting married in Disney at the end of March and need to buy the marriage license online. There are two different options, one with notary service and the other without. What one do I need to buy?

Thank you everyone

We got married in Clearwater last October. We didn't get the notary and was advised but the officiant said it wasn't necessary. The court house said the same thing but they can always get it done and send it to us should we ever need it.

There are 3 ways to do it.
1) Go to the courthouse yourself
2) Pay someone to go to the courthouse for you and they meet you at your hotel
3) Do it all by mail but then you need to pay a notary in the UK

We did the notary route 5 years ago as we didn't want to go to the courthouse during our holiday😳

Basically I searched for notaries online and discovered several within a couple of miles of my home address, I picked the most convenient and booked an appointment. They tell you what they need (I.d etc, my husband was divorced so had to take the absolute too)

The notary (usually retired solicitor) then completed checks and fills in forms basically stating that you are both who you say you are. It cost £70 and then I mailed this to the states (via my Floridawedding by mail service) and all we had to do was arrive at the wedding venue - where after the ceremony, we were provided with our marriage certificate.
It was really easy😊😊

DD has just done this over the last few weeks as she couldn't get to a courthouse in time (land Friday afternoon, wedding on Monday). Searched for local UK notaries, went along to his house and all sorted. I'm sure she mentioned it was £50 but might be wrong. I know she was quoted much higher by others

One day and hours to go (two more sleeps)

My wedding organiser (Pat at Stay Happy) advised I use the licence by mail which is printed off the Brevard County Court website. I have had a look at it and there is no part on it for someone to sign to say you are who you say you are . im really confused
