Disneymoon question

Hey guys,

We are going to AKL for our honeymoon and just wondered if any of you guys have stayed at a disney resort for your honeymoon. If so were there any benefits to it?

We did and no we didn't get any benefits

Congrats! Have a lovely honeymoon!

I think that, these days, so many Disney Guests are celebrating something special (it's that kind of place) that they can't bestow their "pixie dust" on all of them. I'd go expecting nothing extra - just enjoy the regular magic - but maybe mention your honeymoon if appropriate, and let yourself be surprised if you do get any extra touches.

We stayed at AKL on our honeymoon. When we arrived, we were talking to the receptionist about a car fine we had picked up en route from the airport. I was upset as it was a poor start, as she walked away I muttered (upset) to DH "Great start to our Honeymoon this is!".
She helped us with the car fine & then started checking us into our room. She made a couple of calls & wandered about sorting bits & bats. When we were finally sorted, she said "Right, as it's your HONEYMOON... I have upgraded you to a Savannah View room."
She said she had heard me whispering to DH & wanted to try to ensure the car issues were forgotten - What a great surprise it was!

Be sure to get yourself the "Happily Ever After" badges from City Hall at MK (or other locations available). We never got tired of hearing 'CONGRATULATIONS!' from all the cast members and occasionally we were allowed to stay on a ride for a second time... Little things like that.

Overall, Disney bestow magic on guests anyway & we loved it as our honeymoon destination. AKL is a lovely hotel and a great setting.
