July or Oct 21?

I haven't completely given up hope on our easter 21 trip yet but am considering where I might move it to next if needed. The only feesible time for us would be July or taking the kids out of school for an extra week in October. My worry for July would be that the live entertainment / fireworks would still not be back and also the weather. October seems a safer bet but feeling sad about pushing it back further as we were supposed to have gone in April 2020.

Any thoughts on July weather and whether things might be more normal is disney then?

We just moved ours from February. I was looking at May or September but decided to go for September because it's just that bit less risky. My thought was if I moved to May and then had to move again, we'd have to go through all the stress again and the prices will probably have gone up from other people moving so we're playing it safe. If I was choosing between October and July, I'd go October anyway. You've got all the Halloween events and Food and Wine at Epcot and it's not as hot as July. It will be busier though because of the 50th Anniversary!

What sort of restrictions? I know we'd have to cancel tickets and get a refund and rebook new ones
