On site as we are DVC members but also like to book a couple of days on International Drive.

Offsite for me:
I find the food in the parks rubbish so can't imagine it being that much better in the hotels. Also I find having your own pool and more room to yourself better. Having said that I have not stayed on site but I think it's something we may do 2019 just to experience it. |

On site for me for the last four trips, and also for next summer (POR twice, CBR twice, returning to POR as the refurb is still on).
Like the Disney "bubble", always budget for some OOP meals despite getting the QSDP, and the addition of a beer next year will be most welcome to accompany an evening burger /pulled pork sandwich etc. EMHs; 60-day fast passes; Disney transport to save on the $20/day parking (no worries about having that second drink along the World Showcase)... Many reasons, but mainly, it's just I'm a big kid, and it's Disney! Car rental will allow for days away, restaurants on I-Drive etc. Will again escape the three week bubble with a night (perhaps two?) at a Universal hotel.

On site for us, though this is our first trip. Much less hassle, no need to drive, and I like all the perks that come with staying there. Plus, I'm on holiday - I don't want to stay in a villa where I need to do housework, cooking and laundry.

I have answered off but that's because I haven't stayed onsite yet, I might change it at the end of next year
