Mobile Higwarts express on single park ticket?

Does anyone know whether you can ride the Hogwarts Express between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure if you have a 1 Park per day ticket (as apposed to a park to park ticket)? I’m finding conflicting advice!

No, you have to have the park to park tickets I'm afraid.

Definetly cannot ride it unless you have a Park to Park ticket

Yep. You need the park to park admission. Otherwise it's a sneaky way into the other park!

If you've already got the wrong kind of ticket, I've heard you can upgrade at the park, but that's an expensive way to do it.

As you will be entering both parks on the same day, then you need a ticket that allows you to do this - a Park-to-Park ticket (sometimes also called a park hopper ticket).

A 1 park per day ticket only allows you to enter one park per day so you wouldn't be allowed to get onto the transport (= Hogwarts Express) that takes you into the other park.

You can upgrade the ticket to add on the option at the park.

It is park to park only - and they check your ticket at the entrance to the attraction (another reason for a lanyard!).
