I paid similar in 2016 for PE with Thomas Cook for 26/7 - 18/8 from Man-MCO but that was only PE on the way back not on the way there.

I certainly wouldn't pay that about 800 would be my limit for PE as its just a slightly bigger seat when you boil it down.

Would you get pe for £800 in summer hols though?

Edited to add: If so, who with and where from? Struggling to find direct prices from Manchester in economy for that price for summer holidays.

Edited at 05:18 PM.

If it's outbound and inbound during the school summer holidays, then it's not a bad price. We paid £1000pp for this summer school holidays, we booked last April and the price just went up. This was Thomas Cook direct from Manchester in premium

Same as us. We booked PE with Thomas Cook when flights were released for August 2019 LGW to MCO and paid just under £1,000 each. We were pleased with that as it was about the same as last year

We've literally just booked today. Thomas cook from Manchester to MCO 17/8 to 5/9 £3600. I was very happy with that as I'd budgeted £4000 + .
