Pending credit card charge? Expedia.

Last Sunday I reserved three nights at the Kyriad at DLP for my birthday in February through Expedia (Barclays Blue rewards site). Expedia gave me the option to pay at the hotel in full when we stay, which I took.

I've had a pending credit card charge of £90 sat on my card for over a week now from The Kyriad.

Weird as it hasn't cleared and also I am a bit concerned as I opted to pay in full at the hotel. I know a few hotels I've booked on Expedia have required a deposit but I've just checked and this booking shouldn't have incurred a charge. There is nothing in the booking T&C about a deposit and I've done another dummy booking for the week before, which again gives me the option to pay in full at the hotel.

Has anyone had anything similar? As the charge hasn't gone onto my card, is it just a 'holding' fee or something?
